Home > Our School  > About Us > Staff

BEYA schools and children’s centre are staffed by qualified and highly experienced Teachers and Early Years Educators. They are all specialists in Early Years Education. Staff work as key people for children and their families. They will develop a relationship with you and your child starting with a home visit.

The Executive Headteachers – Caron Rudge & Kelly Brooker; Assistant Headteachers – Corinne Hurd, Maia Hasan, Janine Medway-Smith; SENDCO – Martha Brown; Business Manager – Anna Theodoulou and Premises Manager – Rob Mann work across all sites. This senior team are available for parents or carers by appointment via the key person or office staff.

The governing body for BEYA overviews the work of the school and Children’s centre. The chair of BEYA governing body is contactable via the office.

There are office, mealtime and premises staff based at each site.

BEYA schools also benefit from the addition of invaluable support as we train Early Years Teachers and Early Years Educators, offering volunteer placements to those wanting to work in the field of Early Years Education. Grandparents and retired teachers are welcome too!

DBS checks are undertaken on all adults, we take the welfare of your children very seriously.

Ofsted Outstanding
  • Together, you research effective education practice, tailoring it to support the development needs of every child. As a result, all children make substantial gains in their learning. They are very well prepared for primary school.

    Ofsted

  • You have a clear vision for the school and are supported by excellent practitioners at every level. You and your team reflect continually on what is best for the children in your care.

    Ofsted

  • Parents commented that, even the small things, like the issuing of fridge magnets with a picture of their children’s key worker, really helped their children to get ready for their time at the school and to settle in swiftly. Right from day one, there is a friendly face to meet and greet them.
