Hampden Way: Jubilee Week

We had a wonderful week celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. On Monday we made flags and bunting. Tuesday we made crowns and jewellery. On Wednesday we were busy decorating biscuits and making sandwiches in preparation for our Jubilee ‘Welcome Wednesday.’ This was a great success and it was so lovely to see so many families in the nursery with their children. On Thursday we painted portraits and built a castle and Friday ended with a garden party in the sunshine. A jubilant week was had by all. We hope everyone has a restful half term, with love from us all at Hampden Way xxx
